Do gold and silver finishes tarnish?
Most of our necklaces are made of stainless steel. This metal won't tarnish on your skin and won't leave a green mark, unlike the alloys commonly used in costume jewellery. The finish stays stable with everyday wear, as long as you keep it away from chlorine and fragranced products. The material of each piece is given in its details.
How do I care for it?
Take it off before the shower, the pool and sport. Put your perfume on before your necklace, never after: alcohol damages the finish and dulls pearls. Store it somewhere dry in its gift box, away from your other jewellery so they don't rub. A soft, dry cloth is all it takes to bring back its shine.
The fabric cord of this scarf necklace gives it a bold colour, rare in jewellery. The green starfish is the central motif; the little heart repeats the same colour, and the gold scallop shell adds a touch of light. Three touches of colour and light, brought together on one cord. A cheerful, summery piece, for summer or to brighten up winter.
Green pairs beautifully with off-white, camel, denim and navy, and makes a lovely splash of colour on a black outfit. The cord adjusts to rest the starfish just below the collarbone or a little higher, depending on the neckline.

A length of 40 to 45 cm falls just below the collarbone and suits most necklines: that's the one to choose if you're unsure. Under 38 cm, the necklace sits at the base of the neck. Over 48, it falls onto the chest and can be worn over an open shirt, or doubled in two loops. The exact length of each piece is given in its details.
Choose the one you already wear, not the one that shines the most. Silver blends with greys, blues and black; gold warms up beiges, off-whites and warm colours. If you wear a watch or a ring every day, match the necklace to it: it's the simplest guide, and the safest.
