We never sell or rent your data. We only share it with service providers who need it to get your order to you or to run the shop:

Your data is handled in the European Economic Area, which UK law recognises as providing adequate protection. Those transfers are protected by the safeguards UK and EU law require: an adequacy decision, or standard contractual clauses (for the UK, the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses).
Three families. Necessary cookies and those of Microsoft Clarity do not need your agreement.
| Family | What it's for | Your agreement |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Basket, session, security, remembering your cookie choice | Not needed: the site cannot work without them |
| Audience measurement | Understanding what is viewed and improving the shop | Needed, except for Microsoft Clarity |
| Advertising | Showing you our jewellery elsewhere on the web, measuring our ads | Needed |
You give or refuse your agreement in the banner shown when you arrive, and you can change your mind at any time. Until you have accepted, advertising trackers and the other analytics tools do not run. Microsoft Clarity, however, runs from the moment you arrive, whether you accept or not.
What audience measurement sees, in plain words. From the moment you arrive, and even if you refuse cookies in the banner, we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how you move around the site: the pages you visit, your clicks, your mouse movements and where you pause. We use these recordings only to spot what gets in your way and to fix the shop. They are not used to identify you or to show you advertising, and anything you type into form fields is excluded. Clarity sets two cookies for this (_clck, _clsk) that link the pages of one visit. To object to this recording, email us at contact@maisonfermoir.com; you can also delete these cookies in your browser.
The full list of cookies is on a dedicated page.
If you agree, we use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) to show you our jewellery elsewhere on the web after your visit, and to measure whether our ads work. These tools set identifiers that recognise you from one site to another.
You can refuse in the banner ("Manage preferences"), change your mind whenever you like, and object directly with them:
Refusing advertising changes nothing about your order or its delivery.
Two families, handled differently.
| Family | Examples | How they stop |
|---|---|---|
| About your order | Confirmation, shipping, tracking, return | They are part of the contract and you cannot unsubscribe from them. They stop when the order is closed. |
| Marketing | News, offers, review requests | An unsubscribe link in every message, or a word to contact@maisonfermoir.com |
The first come from Shopify, the second from Brevo. Signing up to one does not sign you up to the other.
Under data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict how it is used, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to some uses, including any use for direct marketing. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Email contact@maisonfermoir.com. We reply within one month.
